Sapphire Moon Studios is a creative rebellion of writing and art

Indigo is a freelance writer, poet, artist, activist, who plants seeds of creative activism.

Her writing has been published in DIVA Magazine, Seedlings Studio, City Times Magazine, The Fawn Press, Grrrl Zine Library and featured in multiple queer zines including Autists And Their Animals, Bent Steps, Anarkiss, Thicket Magazine by Fawn Press and Carnations, Violets and Lavender.

Indigo has a special interest in writing sapphic fantasy, historical fiction, climate fiction, gothic horror and dark academia.

She has a persistent passion to create original, compelling work that intersect with marginalised topics, such as environmentalism, neurodiversity, anxiety, witchcraft, alternative living, minimalism, mental wellbeing, nature-based wellness and plant-based living.

Indigo enjoys nature walks, wildlife watching, creating art, zine making, reading in cosy bookshops, learning languages, travelling, cooking, cycling, litter picking, playing drums, floriography, natural history and meditation. She represents and amplifies marginalised voices, both human and non-human.

Her most cherished beverage is bubble tea; autumn is her most adored season and Halloween her most beloved holiday. She feels a kinship with nature and finds peace and contentment exploring wild places.

Indigo is vegan and leads a minimalist lifestyle. She comes from a working-class background and identifies as a cisgender, gay woman. She also use the terms sapphic and lesbian and her pronouns are she/her/hers.
